Dallas Mavericks 2022-23 Season Preview

The Dallas Mavericks waltzed their way to the Western Conference Finals last season. They took down the Utah Jazz in the first round, essentially beginning the major Jazz rebuild to follow. Then the Mavericks did the impossible by absolutely obliterating the Phoenix Suns in a game seven on the road. Luka Doncic, to no surprise, championed this team. Other players such as Jalen Brunson and Dorian Finney-Smith stepped up while new additions like Reggie Bullock proved their worth.

NBA Offseason Grades: Top Five in the Eastern Conference

Plenty of teams in the Eastern Conference see quality NBA offseason grades due to successful summers. With this being said, plenty is still up in the air in the East, mostly due to the Brooklyn Nets and the futures of stars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Plenty of Eastern Conference teams have been rumored to be in the mix for the players, as well as others competing for Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell.

NBA Offseason Grades: Top Five in the Western Conference

The NBA offseason has reached its slow point (for now), which means it’s time to give out grades. A lot can, and probably will, happen before the season tips off, such as trades involving stars like wantaway Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant and star guard Donovan Mitchell, but for now, the free agency market has dried up and most non-major trade talk is quiet. The return Brooklyn received from Harden looked solid, including Ben Simmons, Andre Drummond, and Seth Curry.

The Washington Wizards Have Quietly Built a Solid Team

The Washington Wizards have been stuck in mediocrity for quite some time now. The John Wall and Bradley Beal duo struck excitement for a while, but afterward it’s been downhill. Other experiments such as Russell Westbrook and Spencer Dinwiddie, although exciting on paper, didn’t last long. Beal is still around and signed a major extension, and the Wizards have quietly built a solid team around him.

NBA Free Agency: Underrated Signings This Offseason

NBA free agency has been swinging over the several days. Plenty of big moves got the headlines, such as Jalen Brunson signing with the New York Knicks. Then other stories exploded, such as the massive extensions handed out to stars, the Kevin Durant trade saga, and other major completed trades such as Rudy Gobert heading to the Minnesota Timberwolves. With all this noise, there are always free agent signings that fly under the radar. Gary Payton II was a great snag by the Portland Trail Blazers
